Longhorn Tactical and Defense offers classes to the public in a one on one or group setting for Firearm Basic Fundamental and Safety, and Firearms Live Range Training. 

These classes are offered to participants at various locations. We also can offer basic course to you at home. Each class can be signed up for by calling us to book. Look below to see available classes, descriptions, and availability. 

Are you interested in learning the fundamentals of firearms safety and usage? Look no further than our Firearms Safety and Fundamentals Class. In this course, you will receive comprehensive instruction from experienced firearms professionals who are dedicated to ensuring that you have a complete understanding of safe and responsible firearm handling. What to Expect: Our class covers everything from the basic principles of gun safety to the proper techniques for handling and firing a firearm. You’ll learn about the different types of firearms and their components, as well as the importance of proper storage and maintenance. Our instructors will also provide guidance on how to develop proper shooting stance, grip, and aim for improved accuracy. Hands-On Learning: This class is designed to be interactive and engaging. You’ll have the opportunity to put your newfound knowledge into practice with live dry-fire exercises under the supervision of our instructors. This hands-on experience will help you build confidence and proficiency in handling firearms. Our Firearms Safety and Fundamentals Class is open to individuals of all experience levels – whether you’re a novice looking to learn the basics or an experienced shooter seeking to sharpen your skills. By the end of the course, you will have the knowledge and confidence to handle firearms safely and responsibly.

This class is a 2-4 hour in person class that teaches firearms basics, applicable regulations, maintenance and safety depending on class participation and size. 

This class does not have a hourly pricing. It is flat rate $120 per participant in the course. For large groups please notify us ahead.

Special classes for women, those with disabilities, and others available. LTD has a Deaf Instructor also available.
